Description

Viola epipsila is a herbaceous plant from the violet family ( Violaceae ), which is mainly found in peatlands in northern Europe .The plant is very similar to the more common marsh violet . Viola epipsila is a perennial, herbaceous plant with an 8 to 15 cm long, erected, hairless flower stalk . He continues to plant vision with a thin, creeping rhizome . The finely serrated , heart-shaped leaves are in a root rosette and are slightly hairy on the underside of the veins. The flowers are 1.5 to 2 cm in size, light purple or white and slightly scented. The flower lip is veined purple. There is a trace . The bracts are located above the middle of the stem, in contrast to those of the marsh violet, which are planted in the middle of the stem.
