Zostera tasmanica is a species of marine eelgrass native to the seacoasts of Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia Zostera is a small genus of widely distributed seagrasses, commonly called marine eelgrass or simply eelgrass. The genus Zostera contains 15 species.
