Canalohypopterygium tamariscinum

Description

The genus Hypopterygium is recognized by its particular form of growth, appearing as a small umbrella because of its branches that all come from a point in horizontal form to the ground. It presents creeping primary stems with scaly leaves and dense tomento, from which emerge secondary stems also tomentosos with distant and scaly leaves. The leaves are bordered and generally have a sawed margin and a poorly developed nerve that reaches to the acuous or vexces above. A very particular character of this genus is the presence of anfigastros (modified ventral leaves), rare character in the mosses peromuy common in the liver.
