Description

Scapania carinthiaca is a liver mossy species of the order Lophociales . The plants are up to one centimeter long and are yellow-green. The leaves are divided up to half in two lobes. These are entire and blunt and have patch Spitzchen. They are hardly keeled. The laminate cells have thickened corners, at the leaf margin, the cell walls are thicker and frizzy. The breeding bodies are unicellular and brown.
