Description

he Moroccan fir ( Abies pinsapo marocana (Trab.) Emb. & Maire ) is a plant of the Pinaceae family considered a subspecies of the Spanish fir ( Abies pinsapo ). Drought-resistant species is suitable for gardens and small pots, the Moroccan fir is characterized by a height of 50-60 m, opposite leaves, remolate, bluish-black bark, white-yellow flowers that bloom in January, fruits composed of blue-yellow drupe. The wood is used to make oars and paddles.
