Description

Deparia cataracticola is a species of plant belongs to the tenth Tracheophyta, and was first described by Masahiro Kato. Deparia cataracticola belongs to the genus Deparia, and family Athyriaceae. Deparia (or the false spleenworts) is a genus of ferns. The Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification of 2016 (PPG I) places the genus in the family Athyriaceae, although other sources include it within an expanded Aspleniaceae or Woodsiaceae.
