(Cephalomanes javanicum)
Trichomanes javanicum is a common fern in Southeast Asia. It has dark green, slightly transparent, rigid leaves and therefore somewhat similar to Bolbitis heudelotii, but does not form a creeping rhizome, but a short, upright sprout, on which the leaves are arranged rosy. The roots grow at the natural sites mat-like on the substrate. T. javanicum often comes under the trade names "Aqua Fern", but unfortunately it is not suitable for aquariums.
