In a hurry, he parked in the driveway. He was racing against time to get into the house as quickly as possible. The man could not believe that his wife had allowed a dangerous animal into their home under the guise of a stray dog. He was astounded by what he saw as he hurried in through the front entrance.

A Pressing Matter

Abby and Roy had a wonderful marriage. Others in the neighborhood enviously observed their friendship. But something was lacking from their lives. Abby&#8217;s cavalier behavior left Roy frightened, and he could have never guessed that she would go behind his back and do something that would put their safety at risk.

They Were Perfect

Keegan and Kaylee&#8217;s birth made Abby the happiest woman on earth. Her love for her son only grew as he grew up. Everything should have felt perfect at the time. Sadly, that wasn&#8217;t the case. One key component was lacking. And Abby would find a way to fill the void without informing her husband. But when he discovered the reality, he was devastated.

Keegan and Kaylee

Before she gave birth to her children, Abby wanted a dog very much. Initially, Roy was hesitant, but the odds were two in one when his son was born. It seemed that Keegan loved pets as much as his mother did. They discussed it, but no firm preparations were established until Abby made a hasty decision.

She Wanted A Dog

Roy went to work on what appeared to be a regular day. He suited up and ate a hearty meal before hugging his wife farewell and leaving the house for work. He would not have been in such a good mood if he had known what his wife would give him that day, despite humming on his way to work.

Nothing Unusual

In the midst of his work, Roy received a message from Abby. She often sent him cute messages throughout the day to keep him going. The message is usually something along the lines of &#8220;I&#8217;m looking forward to seeing you&#8221; or &#8220;See you soon.&#8221; One message today, however, was accompanied by an image. Therefore, he was forced to act immediately when he saw what was in the picture.

An Odd Interaction

Roy realized his wife was misled after seeing the creature in the image. She declared it was destiny that she discovered a fearful &#8220;puppy&#8221; outside with no identification! She assumed this was the &#8220;pet&#8221; they had discussed, but she had no idea what she was up against.

Analyzing The Photography

Abby didn&#8217;t realize that the &#8220;dog&#8221; sleeping next to her little boy on her bed was far from a dog. It was significantly more frightening than that. His wife had let it inside the home, and he was stunned. He was trying everything he could to warn her before things got out of hand.

Another Animal

In his haste to get home, his mind wandered throughout. Having seen so many dogs before, he could tell this wasn&#8217;t one of them. In an attempt to make it home before something terrible happened, he drove as fast as possible under the speed limit.

Rushing Home

Abby was not answering the phone, and Roy could not help but think the worst. Before he got to his house, he raced through the last three blocks home. He hurried to the front door after sloppily parking the automobile. His mind was still racing with a slew of uncertainties, including whether or not his wife and child were safe. And based on the photo, he couldn&#8217;t identify what kind of animal she had discovered.

Thinking The Worst

Roy opened his front door and rushed inside. He immediately knew something was wrong. He looked to the couch where he saw the animal in the photo and it was clear that it had been chewed on, he knew something like this would happen. But where was the animal? And more importantly, where were his wife and child?

Destruction

Roy found his son and wife safe in the kitchen, it was clear to his wife now that she had made an expensive mistake letting the animal in. But what was it? Now that Roy saw it in person it was clear that it was a coyote. He was just happy they all were safe.

A Coyote!

The coyote was actually quite docile. Nevertheless, Roy called a wildlife sanctuary that could take the animal to a nicer place or back into the wild. Coyote’s love to scavenge and that can often have them coming into people’s homes looking for food. They got their couch reupholstered so everything was as it was before the incident.

The Coyote

There was one clear take away from the event. Roy’s family desperately wanted a dog and he wouldn’t wait around until they had another coyote in the house. He would take matters into his own hands before it got to that point. He decided to take his family to a local animal shelter to find the perfect companion for his household.

A lesson

Once he found the perfect dog he took them home to meet his family as a surprise. He smiled at the joy he saw in his wife and his son’s eyes when he got home. He was just happy that it wasn’t a wild animal ready to chew up anything in sight. Still, the dog even grew on him and he couldn’t have hoped for a happier ending.
