Higher ranked colleges don’t necessarily give a better education

In an era where the cost of secondary education has become an increasingly limiting factor for prospective students, researchers set out to examine how the prestige of an academic institution related to the quality of experience for the student.

Using data from over 80,000 students, the study found that a college or university’s ranking had little to do with student engagement.
