Omocestus rufipes

Description

Omocestus rufipes, the woodland grasshopper, is a species of short-horned grasshopper belonging to subfamily Gomphocerinae. The Latin species name rufipes means red-foothed, from rufus (red) + pes (foot), with reference to the color of the legs.
