Description

Scaptesyle equidistans is a moth in the subfamily Arctiinae. It was described by Lucas in 1890. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland and New South Wales. The wingspan is about 25 mm. The forewings are black with four yellow bands. The hindwings are yellow with a broad black border.
