Description

Nausinoe pueritia is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Pieter Cramer in 1780. It is found in India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia, where it has been recorded from the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. The wingspan is about 30 mm. Adults are pale brown with complex white markings edged with dark brown on the wings. The larvae feed on the leaves of Abutilon species. They live within a rolled leaf of their host plant. The larvae are green and reach a length of about 20 mm.
