Description

Cryptophasa catharia is a moth in the Xyloryctidae family. It was described by Turner in 1917. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Western Australia. The wingspan is about 45 mm. The forewings are uniform whitish with a slight brown tinge and the hindwings are grey-whitish.
