Description

The langur Indochinese (trachypithecus germaini Milne-Edwards,1876) is a primate catarrhine of the family cercopithecuses,in particular,it is part of the tribe of Presbytini within the subfamily of colobinae.In the past this species has been classified both as a subspecies of Trachypithecus cristatus (T.cristatus germaini) and as a subspecies of Trachypithecus villosus (T.villosus germaini).The hair is grayish,with a belly,throat and cream-colored back: the face,dark gray with reddish-brown eyes,is surrounded by a yellowish-gray crown.The hands and the upper part of the tail are black.
