Description

It measures 13 cm and weighs 11 g.It is the only flycatcher present in the Isla del Coco National Park.It has a long beak and a relatively long tail.There is considerable variation in color.The adults are between grayish olive and dark brownish olive on top.The tail and wings are darker,with the wing bars between opaque and yellowish anteater.The eyebrows are generally light and paler.Underneath they are pale gray suede,pale white or pale yellowish,with a dye between brownish and olive through the chest.The maxilla is black and the jaw is pale horn color with the tip fusca.The legs are dark gray.Juvenile individuals are more coffee than adults.The eyebrows and wing bars are between fawn and cinnamon
