Description

Brachinus sclopeta is a species of beetle. It was first described by Fabricius in 1792. Brachinus sclopeta belongs to the genus Brachinus, and family Carabidae. There is no listed species like this. Brachinus is a genus of ground beetle native to the Nearctic, Palearctic, the Near East and North Africa. Beetles in this genus are commonly referred to as bombardier beetles.
