Description

Elachista archaeonoma is a species of moth in the family Elachistidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1889. It is endemic to New Zealand. The wingspan is 6–8 mm. The forewings are dark grey, irrorated with whitish. The hindwings are grey. Adults have been recorded on wing in December and January.
