Description

Cannaphila mortoni is a species of dragonfly in the corn bolt family (Libellulidae), suborder true dragonflies (Anisoptera). The species is on the IUCN Red List as uncertain, assessment year 2007. The scientific name Cannaphila mortoni was first validly published in 1992 by Donnelly. Cannaphila is a small Neotropical genus of dragonflies in the family Libellulidae. They are commonly called narrow-winged skimmers. One species, C. insularis, occurs in North America. There are three species.
