(Walckenaeria castanea)
Walckenaeria castanea is a species of dwarf spider in the family Linyphiidae. It is found in the United States, Canada, and Greenland. Walckenaeria is a genus of dwarf spiders that was first described by John Blackwall in 1833. It is a senior synonym of Paragonatium, as well as Wideria, Cornicularia, Prosopotheca, Tigellinus, and Trachynella. Some males in this group have eyes set up on mounds or turrets. In extreme cases, several eyes are on a stalk taller than the carapace itself.
