Argyrophorus argenteus

Description

Argyrophorus argenteus is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found on the lower slopes of the Andes in Chile and Argentina. The wingspan is about 40 mm. The larvae feed on various grasses, including Stipa species.
