Description

Haereta niphosceles is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1947. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland. The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are rosy with the stigmata fuscous, the first discal at one-fourth, the plical beyond it, the second discal near the middle. There is an interrupted dark fuscous terminal line continued on the apical fourth of the costa. The hindwings are white.
