Description

Odites hemigymna is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1930. It is found in Madagascar. The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are light ochreous yellow with the extreme base fuscous, rather wider on the costa. There is a very broad postmedian fuscous fascia, the anterior edge dark fuscous, nearly straight, little oblique, the posterior edge slightly convex. The hindwings are pale grey.
