Description

Chararica hystriculella is a species of snout moth in the genus Chararica. It was described by Hulst in 1889. It is found in Texas and southern Florida. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are whitish except for a brownish basal patch and brownish shading beyond the line running from the apex to the middle of the inner margin. The hindwings are pale gray with a dull yellow terminal line.
