Victoria crowned-pigeon

Description

Goura victoria is alarge,blue-grayspecies of pigeon with elegant blue plumes similar to bows,brown chest and red iris.It is part of a genus of three very large pigeons,native to the region of New Guinea.The bird can be easily recognized by the unique white tips on its crests and by the sounds it emits.Its name is a tribute to Queen Victoria.
