Description

The yellow- necked peacock,peacock poru or turban paujil (Crax daubentoni) is a species of galliform bird of the family Cracidae found in northeastern Colombia and northern Venezuela.There are no known subspecies.It reaches up to 91 cm in length.It is characterized by the bright yellow caruncles and the tuber of the same color on the black bill.The plumage is black with greenish reflections on the back,while the belly is white.The legs are bluish-black in color.
