(Clamator glandarius)
It is a cuculiforme with dimensions between 35-39 cm. Unlike its more common cousin (the cuckoo ) it has more rounded wings and a long narrow tail that gives it a shape and a gait very similar to that of the magpies. The adult has the upper parts gray,the wings spotted with white spots and the head (with the tuft that gave it the name) silver gray.The lower parts are white and the throat is light yellow. The young man,on the other hand,has black tops,wings studded with white spots and primary feathers of rust color with black tips.The lower parts are white and the yellow throat.
