The turtle yellow-headed temple (Heosemys annandalii) or turtle Annandale,is a species of turtle's family of Geoemydidae.The yellow-headed turtle turtle is a large turtle,with a carapace size of up to 80 cm.It is the largest species of its kind.The female is bigger than the male.The carapace is black or dark brown,with trapezoid-shaped scales or isosceles triangles.The head is medium in size with a protruding snout.It is an aquatic animal,with webbed fingers.The eggs are oval,with a diameter of 5.7 to 6.2 cm.Just after hatching,the juveniles have a carapace 6 cm long.The turtle of yellow-headed temples is herbivorous.She can live,in captivity,up to 35 years.
