Chinese stripe-necked turtle

Description

The carapace,240 mm long,is elongated and with three evident fairings,its color varies from reddish brown to black.The plate is yellow with dark spots on each scale.On the neck and on the legs has an elegant livery with yellow or greenish stripes.The feeding is herbivorous,feeds on aquatic plants.The females lay 2-3 eggs in broods which are repeated 2-3 times a year
