Description

The Juan Fernandez Islands Sea Lion ( Arctocephalus philippii ) is as its name indicates endemic (it lives only in this place) of the Archipelago Juan Fernández,off the coast of Chile,where was born the history of Robinson Crusoe.It is the smallest sea lion,with the exception of its close cousin,the Galapagos Sea Lion Arctocephalus galapagoensis,which is even smaller.
