Ribbon-tailed astrapia

Description

The bird of paradise hangs ( Astrapia mayeri ) is a species of passerine bird in the family Paradisaeidae.It has a longer tail than its entire body,which if it were not for it would not be 120 cm long,because its body only measures 32 cm.Young people do not have the long tail of adults until after the first moult.
