Description

The parrot-faced (Forpus xanthops Salvin,1895) is a bird of the family of Psittacidae.It is the largest of its kind,14 cm in size;green load on the upper parts,wide yellow facial mask with blue line behind the eye;chest and belly yellow-green,rump and blue remiges,brown beak and pink paws,has brown iris.The female is differentiated by the blue rump and the green mottled remiges.
