Description

The Australian Rallus (Rallus antarcticus King,1828) is a bird of the family of the Rallids originating in the southern regions of South America.The austral rallo has a small size (20 cm) and has a characteristic livery with brown back or chamois colored with black bands and light gray belly except on the sides of the chest where the color is brown,the undertail and the near part of the abdomen are black and white stripes.Eyes and beak are red,pink-red legs.
