(Rana latastei)
The Black-eared Frog ( Rana latastei ) is a species of anuran amphibian belonging to the family Ranidae.It has a length of about 7 cm.The skin is smooth and the coloration has varying tones,but in general it has weak stripes on the legs and a long dark spot behind each eye,giving reason to its name.It is located north of Italy and northwest of the former Yugoslavia.It inhabits at altitudes not exceeding 700 m.
