The little owl of the Congo ( Glaucidium sjostedti ) is a species of owl of the family Strigidae.The species is native to Central Africa : Cameroon,Central African Republic,Congo,Democratic Republic of the Congo,Equatorial Guinea,Gabon and Nigeria.It inhabits the tropical and subtropical humid forest.It does not have recognized subspecies.
