Description

It is a finch of a thickness of 12 cm in length,with an approximate weight of 12.5 g and with a curved beak pointed black.The male is completely black,while the female is brown with many stripes,with a lower surface paler.The young are similar,but they have yellow beaks.The standard clutch is two brown eggs with white spots,which are incubated in a more or less spherical nest,built at the end of the branch of a tree
