Bassia villosissima is an amarantic plant species first described by August Gustav Heinrich von Bongard and Carl Anton von Meyer,and now became known as Helmut E.Freitag and G.Kadereit.Bassia villosissima is included in the genus fudge,and the family of amaranth plants.No subspecies are listed in the Catalog of Life.
