Hydrocotyle muscosa is a flock-flowered plant species described by Robert Brown and Achille Richard . Hydrocotylic muscosa is part of the genus spike leaf, and the family flock-flowered plants. In addition to the nominal form, there is also the subspecies H. m. Muscosa.
