Description

Peucedanum oreoselinum is a species of Magnoliopsida described by Conrad Moench. Peucedanum oreoselinum belongs to the genus Peucedanum, and the family Apiaceae. This species is divided into the following subspecies. Strain damaged when covered in the upper part by some fibrous remains. Tarmu 30-130 cm high, cylindrical, 3-10 mm in diameter, solid, striated, glabrous or puberulous against the base, often coloured, with canes at the general pole at the top, coles forming angles of less than 45º –when up to 60º–. Basal bellows up to 50 cm, llimbu up to 30 - 20 cm, wider than long, triangular-oval in outline, 2-4 pinnatisect; primary divisions –up to 4 pairs– at a straight or nearly straight angle to the rachis, with last-order divisions 10-30 × 6-15 mm, glabrous, triangular-oval in outline, irregularly toothed or with deep lobes, well unequal, apiculae, with finely denticulated marxe and well visible vein, petiole up to 30 cm, cylindrical, flexuous, glabrous, progressively widened against the base in the sheath with a thin membranous margin; fueyes caulinares 4-6, menores que les basales, llimbu de contorna triangular, 2-3 pinnatisecto, con segmentos triangulares, y marxe d'enteru a fuertemente serrucháu, pecíoluenancháu en vaina de c. 1 cm wide and with a thin membranous margin. Speck with tiny teeth, broadly triangular, greenish, with a blunt and clearer apex. Petals c. 0.9 × 0.7 mm, suborbicular contour, emarginaos, ablancazaos, well marked central nerve col. Wide, conical stylopod ; divergent styles, up to 1 mm anchor at the base and narrow at the apical part. Fruits 4.2-8 × 4-7 mm, contour + circular;dark mericarp, with 3 slightly marked ribs; nala 0.5-1.4 mm wide, thick and white. They have a chromosome number of 2n = 22; n = 11. It is found in grassy places, orles and escamplaes de monte, in carbayeres, gall oaks and holm oaks, on dry soils or with a certain humidity, preferably on xylic substrates; at an altitude of 70-1900 meters in central Europe, to Sweden, and southern Europe, possibly to the Caucasus.
