Vietnamese paradise palm

Description

Lanonia dasyantha (formerly Licuala dasyantha) is a small palm with yellow spots and stripes over its leaves. Lanonia dasyantha is a relatively new species and has to be extensively tested for cold tolerance but there are already reports that they survive -5. For now it is a very nice tropical looking palm that grows well at low temperatures.
