Description

Cryptantha nubigena is a perennial plant in the Borage Family (Boraginaceae). It is commonly called Sierra cryptantha. It is found in the central and southern United States Sierra Nevada range, up to the alpine zone at 12,900 feet (3,900 m). It has short, leafy stems, but less densely leafy than Low Cryptantha Cryptantha humilis.[
