Description

Enarthrocarpus is a genus of fanerógamas belonging to the family Brassicaceae. It comprises 14 species described and of these, only 5 accepted. They are annual herbs with leaves divided or divided, hispidas, with short and simple whitish hairs. Short clusters, subcormobuses, often bracted down, lose rigor in the fruit. Flowers of medium size, pale yellow, with veined petals of brown or violet color. Sepals are open, almost the same. Petals tightly obovate. Nectar lateral glands depressed, not very visible; stockings in the shape of cane or oblong. The fruit is a cylindrical, biarticulate silicua.
