Description

“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: seeds, roots Ipomoea microdactyla is a hairless, at least on the stem base with spines occupied climber. The root is thickened . The leaves are egg-shaped to lanceolate, all-round, or five- to seven-fingered. The base is slightly heart-shaped to cut or beveled, the tip is long pointed. The flowers stand in zymous inflorescences or rarely also individually . The nearly uniformly shaped sepals are 6 to 7 mm long, oval-shaped and spiky. The stem-shaped crown is scarlet to crimson, its corolla is 2.5 to 4 cm long, and the crown is 2.5 to 3 cm wide. The fruits are almost globular to egg-shaped, 10 to 12 mm diameter and brown colored capsule fruits , on which the stylus base is stable and forms a point. The seeds are elongated, 7 to 8 mm long and woolly with long trichomes.
