Description

“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: seeds, roots Ipomoea pauciflora is a limbing plant whose trunks can reach a diameter of 2 cm. The plant is glabrous or almost glabrous. The leaf blades of the leaves are mostly egg-shaped and all-round, they reach a length of 5 to 8 cm. They are pointed forward or pointed at the base, rounded or very weakly heart-shaped. The inflorescences are infrequent until much flowered cymes that are often at leaf leafless branches. The inflorescences are 8 to 12 cm long, the flower stalks 3 cm or less. The sepals are almost uniformly shaped, rounded ovoid and 5 to 8 mm long. The crown , about 6 cm long, is white in color and often has a dark red or violet gullet. The Kronsaum has a diameter of 6 to 8 cm. The fruits are thick-walled, elliptical, two-chambered capsules with a length of 2 cm and a diameter of 1 cm. They open over four flaps. The seeds are filled with long, soft, protruding, white trichomes.
