Apodanthera-is a genus of plants in the family-Cucurbitaceae. he genus was described by George Arnott Walker Arnott and published in the Journal of Botany, being a second series of the Botanical Miscellany 3 (21): 274. 1841. The type species is: Apodanthera mathewsii
