Didymocarpus heucherifolius

Description

idymocarpus heucherifolius is a species of flowering plant in the family Gesneriaceae. This species wasfirst scientifically described by Heinrich Raphael Eduard Handel-Mazzetti in 1936. David Wood (1972, 1974) transferred it to the genus Chirita, but Wang et al. (1998) maintains its place in the genus Didymocarpus. Analytical results of Weber et al. (2011) showed that Chirita was polyphyletic, diverging as a whole, moving the species to other genera, and that they still maintained this species' position in the family.Didymocarpus
