Aspicarpa is a botanical genus of flowering plants with 39 species belonging to the family Malpighiaceae . He is originally from America . The genre was described by Louis Claude Marie Richard and published in Mémoires du Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle 2: 399 in the year 1815. The type species is Aspicarpa hirtella Rich.
