Description

Malvastrum is a botanical genus with 300 species of flowering plants belonging to the Malvaceae family . He is originally from America . They are erect bushes or sufrutices ; the stems with erect or appressed stellate trichomes . The leaves are ovate or lanceolate, usually simple, crenate or dentate. The inflorescences are in the form of spikes or apical clusters , or solitary flowers in the armpits; calculus of 3 filiform or spatulate bracts; 5-lobed chalice; the yellow or orange petals ; androceo even; stigmas capitados. Oblate fruits , setose or pubescent.
