Stromanthe stromanthoides is a species of weak plant. It was first described by James Francis Macbride, and given the exact name of Bengt Lennart Andersson. Stromanthe stromanthoides belongs to the genus Stromanthe, and family Marantaceae. Stromanthe is a genus of flowering plants in the family Marantaceae, native to the tropical portions of the Americas from Mexico to Trinidad to northern Argentina.
