Description

Sandoricum is a genus of phanerogamous plants of the family ( Meliaceae ), comprising 22 species described and of these only one accepted and the rest pending classification. 1 He is originally from Central America. The genus was described by Rumph. ex Cav. and published in Monadelphiae Classis Dissertations Decem 7: 359. 1789. 2 The type species is: Sandoricum indicum Cav.
