Description

Darwinia oldfieldii,commonly known as Oldfield's darwinia,is a plant in the myrtle family Myrtaceae and is endemic to Western Australia.The shrub has an erect and spreading habit and typically grows to height of 0. to 0. metres (0. to . ft) but can reach as high as metre ( ft).It blooms between August and November producing red flowers.Often found on rocky ledges and on sandplains in the Mid West region of Western Australia in an area on the coast just north of Geraldton where it grows in sandy soils.
